Girl, I needed this blog this morning...a lot of us have this hard exterior like you say and girl, with me, I have this hard exterior but my heart is soft like jello....but my past always haunts me. I do want to get married and enjoy my husband and possible kids but girl one step at a time, I have letting it go and I started dated men outside of my preference. I realized that I focusED on the wrong things in the past and I do give them a a chance. To tell the truth, it is amazing to see the type of male friends I pick up and I am like why don't my men treat this same way...but friends first then lovers became my motto. I embrace it because I think we women are too hasty! But like you say all men aren't the same cause most or all of my friends are males and girl I got a serious reality check! When you change your perspective, you change your world and things appear so much more different. Change is always good! Whoooh, I needed to release that...thanks girl!

In the words of Vanilla Ice... "Word to ya mutha!" LMAO! This post is so on point, VI. I think all women have experienced bitterness at some point or another. I most certainley needed this "shake by the shoulders" today.
